Although I've never encountered any art supplies I don't enjoy working with, acrylics/gesso/putty and watercolor/ink are my go-tos.
I cherish the process of building layers, depth, and texture in my paintings; it reminds me that we are all a "work in progress" and that God brings beauty and purpose out of even the messiest layers of our lives, and that nothing is wasted in the Hands of our Maker.
Originally from Knoxville, TN, I currently live in Charleston, SC. My precious husband coaches college football and we've been married almost 12 years. We have four amazing kiddos; their creativity and zeal for life is contagious. Life is a glorious adventure with our Good Shepherd leading the way. Proverbs 3:5-6
Growing up, I was obsessed with all things Circus. I dreamed of becoming an acrobat & even went to circus camp. I spent countless hours riding my little red unicycle around our basement (core memories unlocked!) and daydreaming of life under the big top. Although I haven't joined the circus (yet anyways), living by faith is full of adventure, with Jesus being the Best Ringmaster Ever. Oh & if the circus comes to town and you need a friend to join you, "pick me! pick me!"
